Registrations
Check which staff phones and calling apps are connected to your phone system.
In the CRM: Voice Features → Phone System → Status → Registrations
Confirm that the team’s phones are connected
A registration is a phone or calling app’s connection to an extension. Registrations helps you check that the devices expected to answer calls are present and identify the software or phone model in use.
The User column identifies the extension. Agent identifies the phone or app software; it is different from the staff-agent role used elsewhere in Mango9.
Find a connected phone
- Open Voice Features → Phone System → Status → Registrations.
- Search for the extension or other known device detail. Choose Search.
- Review User, Agent and Status for the matching connection.
- Use Refresh after the person signs in or reconnects their phone. Clear the search and run it again to return to the wider list.
Understand the connection details
For a routine business check, start with the extension, device and status. Keep the other details available when your phone support contact needs to investigate a connection.
| Column | What it helps identify |
|---|---|
| User | The extension used by the phone or app. |
| Agent | The device or calling software reporting the connection. |
| Contact | The registered contact information supplied by that device. |
| LAN IP and IP | The local and network addresses reported for the connection. |
| Port, Hostname and Profile | Connection details that help identify the phone-system path. |
| Status | The current registration information supplied by the phone system. |
| Ping | The reported response timing for the connection. |
Use device actions for the selected phone
Select the intended device and review the confirmation before applying an action. Provisioning and restarting are device-management actions and can interrupt that phone’s use. For a simple check, use Search and Refresh.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Unregister | Removes the selected registration. The device may register again using its saved account settings. |
| Provision | Requests a supported phone to obtain its configured settings. |
| Reboot | Requests a supported phone to restart. |
Make connected phones part of campaign readiness
Before routing a promotion to a staff or buyer extension, confirm the intended phone or app is connected. Then check queue availability or the number’s answering route.
Your Telnyx number is the public number customers call. The extension and its registered device are the internal destination used by the person answering. Keep that assignment clear so enquiries reach the right adviser.
