Conference Centers

Organize separate telephone meeting rooms under one center for your teams, clients or partners.

In the CRM: Voice Features → Phone System → Applications → Conference Centers

Give recurring meetings a clear home

A conference center groups individual conference rooms. Create a center for a business team, location or client-meeting program, then add the rooms used for those conversations.

The center has an extension, greeting and minimum PIN length. Each room holds its own moderator and participant settings.

Create the center first

  1. Open Voice Features → Phone System → Applications → Conference Centers and choose Add.
  2. Enter the Name and an unused Extension for the center.
  3. Choose a Greeting when you want an introduction before joining the room. Include the joining instructions in the greeting: the form notes that no separate PIN prompt will play.
  4. Set the minimum PIN Length for the rooms.
  5. Keep Enabled on, add a Description and choose Save.
  6. Return to Conference Centers and choose Rooms to create a room within the saved center.

Connect the center to your meeting process

Use a center for a group of related meetings, such as client reviews or regional sales sessions. Give each room a name that makes its purpose easy to recognize.

Staff can use the center’s internal extension. To admit outside callers through a public business number, configure that number or phone-menu option to reach the center, then provide the room’s joining instructions.

Use View Active to review running conferences. The Rooms list provides the room-level settings and access to the tools offered for each room.

Use it in a marketing operation

An agency can keep client-review rooms organized under one center. A lead-selling business can use rooms for buyer onboarding, sales training or recurring campaign reviews.

Use your connected Telnyx business numbers for the calling path, then use the CRM’s tasks, calendar and SMS templates to organize the next step agreed during the meeting.
