Conference Rooms

Set the joining, moderator and schedule options for individual rooms in a conference center.

In the CRM: Voice Features → Phone System → Applications → Conference Centers → Rooms

Give each meeting its own room

Conference Rooms are the individual meeting spaces inside a saved Conference Center. A room can have separate PINs for its moderator and participants, a schedule and the meeting behavior you choose.

Create the Conference Center first. Then open Rooms from the Conference Centers page.

Use Add for a room within your saved center, or search for a room you already use. Select the image to enlarge it.

Prepare a room

  1. Open Voice Features → Phone System → Applications → Conference Centers and choose Rooms.
  2. Choose Add, then select the Conference Name for the saved center.
  3. Enter a Room Name that explains its purpose.
  4. Set distinct Moderator and Participant PINs that meet the center’s minimum PIN length.
  5. Review the Profile, member settings and Schedule, then choose the moderator and announcement behavior.
  6. Keep Enabled on, add a Description and save the room.

Choose the meeting behavior

Use the phone system’s configured local time zone, such as Los Angeles, when arranging the schedule. Confirm the time and joining instructions when inviting participants.

Share a clear invitation

Give participants the business number or center extension, meeting time and participant PIN. Give the host the moderator PIN and the plan for starting and closing the meeting.

For a buyer-onboarding session, include the campaign topics: service area, opening hours, how calls or leads are delivered, and the follow-up process. Use a calendar entry or message template to keep the details consistent.

Review existing rooms

The Rooms list shows the name, moderator and participant settings, recording and announcement choices, member count, enabled state and description. Open a room to update the intended settings.

Use the room’s View or Sessions tools when offered to review the live meeting or its session history. Review the room and selected action before changing meeting settings.
