Fax Server
Keep fax delivery, document notifications and the business fax identity organized in one place.

Keep customer paperwork with the responsible team
Fax Server provides a fax destination and document-handling settings for businesses that exchange paperwork by fax. For a sales team, a clearly named destination helps keep signed forms or supplier documents with the right people.
A fax extension is the internal fax destination. The business fax number and routing connect outside callers to that destination; an employee's ordinary phone extension has a different job.
Set the service identity
- Open Fax Server and use Add to create settings, or open an existing service to edit it.
- Enter a recognizable Name and the intended fax Extension.
- Review the Destination Number and the phone-account settings for that service.
- Set the business Caller ID Name and Caller ID Number used for outbound faxing.
- Choose the notification and document-delivery options, then Save the completed settings.
Choose how documents reach the team
| Option | How it helps |
|---|---|
| The delivery address for fax notifications. | |
| Fax File: Attachment | Include the fax document as an email attachment. |
| Fax File: Download Link | Send a download link that requires sign-in. |
| Confirmation Emails | Notify the selected addresses about successful or failed faxes. |
| Forward Number | The forwarding destination when your fax setup uses one. |
| Users | Associate the intended phone-system users with the fax service. |
| Send Channels | Set the configured capacity for sending faxes. |
Send and review documents
From the fax service's list entry, New opens the fax sending screen when available. Review the destination, document and any cover information before sending.
Use the service's Inbox, Sent or Logs links to review documents and transmission results. A saved fax service is configuration; check the transmission result for the individual document.
Keep confirmation addresses current so the team knows when a customer document needs attention.
