Tasks & Events
Organize work, customer appointments and meetings from one activity menu.
In the CRM: Tasks & Events
Choose the right workspace
Open Tasks & Events in the main menu. Use Tasks for work someone needs to do, Appointments for a scheduled customer appointment, and Events for calls, meetings and other calendar activities. The tabs inside each workspace let you move between the three.
| Workspace | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Tasks | Assign follow-ups, review instructions, record notes and track progress. |
| Appointments | Arrange time with a customer and see the linked contact, owner and appointment status. |
| Events | Schedule a meeting, a call or another calendar activity. |
Find work you already have
The board groups the current page of results. It is not a drag-and-drop status editor. Open an activity and use its edit or status control to change it.
- Choose the appropriate workspace, then search by title or contact.
- Use the status and ownership controls to narrow the list. All accessible includes only activities you have permission to see.
- Choose List for rows with dates and owners, or Board to group the loaded activities by status.
- Open a title or View / Details to inspect the full record. Use Previous and Next when the results span more than one page.
How this connects to Calendar
Open scheduler takes you to the calendar. Scheduled activities use the same underlying records, so you do not need to recreate an appointment in both places.
Tasks, appointments and meetings remain different activity types. If you change the type while editing, find the saved item in the workspace for its new type.
Check the time and access
The browser supplies the time zone when a new activity is saved. Check that the device uses the intended city-based time zone, such as Los Angeles, before entering dates. The saved activity shows its time zone alongside the schedule.
Your role determines which workspaces, team members and edit controls appear. If an expected activity is missing, clear the filters and ask its owner to check sharing. A missing item does not necessarily mean it was deleted.
