Events

Schedule calls, meetings and other activities, then review their owners and status.

In the CRM: Tasks & Events → Events

Find your events

Open Tasks & Events → Events. This workspace contains calendar activities such as Call and Meeting. Tasks and Appointments have their own tabs.

Current event controls with fictional meetings. Board groups the current page by status. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Search for a title, description or contact.
  2. Choose a Status and an Ownership view if you need a smaller list.
  3. Switch to List for dates and owners in rows, or Board for status columns.
  4. Open the title or Details to inspect the activity. Use Previous and Next for additional pages.

Schedule a meeting or call

Choose Task, Follow Up or Appointment only when that is the type you intend; the saved activity will appear in that type’s workspace.

A regular Call event is a scheduled activity. It does not dial the contact automatically. Automatic calling requires the separate AI execution controls to be available and configured.

Check the device/browser’s city-based time zone before creating the event. The stored time zone appears in the saved details.

Close-up of the actual event form with an unsaved example meeting. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Select Create event, then choose Call or Meeting.
  2. Enter a clear title and a description of what should happen.
  3. Set the start and end date and time. Use a duration shortcut if it fits, then choose Low, Medium or High priority.
  4. Choose the status that describes the current situation. Status names come from your account’s Event Statuses settings.
  5. Choose a responsible person if that selector is available. Use Share this activity with to include other people without changing the owner.
  6. Link a contact by typing at least three characters and selecting the matching contact. Check the selected person before saving.
  7. Open Repeat and reminders if needed. Choose the repeat pattern, reminder timing and available notification method. Contact email reminders are a separate choice.
  8. Select Create. Wait for the confirmation and check the saved activity’s details. Close or Escape leaves an unsaved form without creating the activity.

Update an event

Use the account’s status labels to describe progress. Changing a status on the form is separate from editing the date or writing a description.

  1. Open the event title or Details.
  2. Review the owner, contact, start, end, time zone, priority and sharing.
  3. Select Edit when available, make the changes and select Save.
  4. Reopen the event to check the result, or use Open scheduler to view it on the calendar.

Sharing and reminders

The responsible person owns the activity. Share this activity with includes other team members without assigning ownership to everyone.

Also share this lead (contact) is a separate access choice for the linked contact. Repeat and reminders contains repeat patterns, reminder timing and delivery choices. Review recipients before saving.

If the view looks empty

Clear search, status and ownership filters, then check the other activity tabs. Access depends on ownership, sharing and your role. If you expected a shared event, ask its owner to confirm that you still have access.
