Lead Finder
Find businesses in a location, compare the results, and add selected leads to a CRM group.
In the CRM: Lead Fusion → Lead Finder
Start here
Lead Finder searches for businesses that match a keyword and location. You review the results before adding anything to your CRM. A search result can include a phone number, website, address and public rating; some businesses have incomplete information.
Lead Finder is the current name. Older AI Data Finder and permit discovery links now lead to this workspace. The old permit screens are no longer separate items in the client menu.
Set up access
- Open Lead Fusion → Lead Finder. If Find leads is unavailable, read the connection notice above the search form.
- An account owner with connection access can open Search settings. Other team members should ask the owner to enable the connection and their Lead Finder access.
- Check the allowance or paid-search notice shown for your account before starting a search.
Run a search
- Enter the kind of business in Business or keyword, for example roofing contractors.
- Enter a specific city and state in Location, for example Los Angeles, CA.
- Choose Leads to find. This is the maximum requested, not a promise that the search will find that many businesses.
- Select Find leads. If a paid-search confirmation appears, review its rate and maximum before continuing.
- Watch the progress message. Keep the existing search open while results are collected; starting another search is not a refresh.
If updates pause, use Resume updates to check the same search. If confirmation was interrupted, retry the original keyword and location or check Search history before creating a different search.
Review and filter the results
Check the business details before outreach. A public phone number or website does not establish the person’s communication preferences.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Filter these results | Search within the businesses already returned. This does not run a new paid search. |
| All leads / Has phone / Has website / No website / Not in CRM | Narrow the result list by the contact details you need or whether a lead has already been imported. |
| Website | Open the business website in a new tab. |
| Map and View on map | Locate businesses with coordinates. A lead without coordinates still appears in the list. |
| Fit map | Show the available lead locations together. |
| Show more leads | Reveal the next results in the current list. |
Add selected leads to your CRM
- Select the checkbox on each business you want. Select all matches selects eligible results in the current filter; already imported leads are excluded.
- Choose Add to group. Use + New group if you need a separate list for this work.
- Choose the Lead status that should be assigned to the imported records, such as New.
- Check the selected count, then select Add selected to CRM. The button includes the count once you select records.
- Read the confirmation. It tells you how many leads were added and whether any were already in the CRM.
- Open CRM leads and the destination group. Check a record’s details and arrange the next task or follow-up.
Selecting a result does not import it. Adding a lead to the CRM does not send a text, email or call.
Search with AI
Search with AI opens the Mango9 assistant. Describe the business type and location in ordinary language, then review the proposed search before approving it. The regular search form remains available if you prefer to enter the fields yourself.
If the assistant is still loading, wait and select Search with AI again. You can also use the regular search form immediately.
Return to an earlier search
- Select Search history to see recent searches and their progress.
- Open a saved search to load its results or continue checking its progress.
- Use Archive to remove a search from the history list when you no longer need it. Archiving a search does not undo leads you already added to the CRM.
Allowance and paid searches
Your account determines the included search allowance and whether paid searches are available after it runs out. The screen shows the applicable allowance and asks for confirmation when a paid search applies.
Read the displayed per-lead rate and maximum before approving a paid search. Use the current values in your account; this guide does not quote a fixed price. Filtering returned results and choosing records are separate from submitting a new search.
Solve common problems
| What you see | What to try |
|---|---|
| Find leads is unavailable | Check the connection notice and ask the owner to review Search settings and your access. |
| No results or no matching leads | Clear the local result filter. For a new search, use a clearer business type or a nearby location. |
| Map unavailable | Continue using the lead cards and addresses; the results are still available. |
| Updates paused | Select Resume updates to check the existing search. |
| Import button is unavailable | Select at least one new lead, an Add to group destination and a Lead status. |
| Fewer leads added than selected | Read the confirmation for existing or skipped records before importing again. |
