Upload

Move a CSV contact list into Mango9 and match each column to the right information.

In the CRM: Lead Fusion → Upload

Prepare a useful contact list

Upload saves time when your contacts are already in a spreadsheet or another system. Save the sheet as CSV, keep one contact per row and separate details such as first name, last name, mobile and email into their own columns.

Use Import Template as a starting point and replace its sample details. The mapping screen shows the first rows of your file so you can check the actual data. Add any custom fields you need in Configure before importing, and check the maximum file size shown on your Upload page.

Choose a destination and a CSV file, then use Upload to open the column-mapping preview. Select the image to enlarge it.

Choose the destination and file

  1. Open Lead Fusion → Upload and choose Import List.
  2. Choose an existing Group/List, or check New Group/List and enter its Group Name.
  3. Choose Number Deduplication if you want the importer to check for repeated numbers.
  4. Review Country and Add Country Prefix. Do not add the prefix again if your file already includes it.
  5. Select file and choose the CSV. Use Change to pick a different file or Remove to clear the selection.
  6. Select Upload to open Data field mapping. No import is submitted until you confirm the Upload button inside that preview.

Delete List is a different operation: it uses a file to remove listed contacts. Keep Import List selected when you are adding leads.

Match the columns and submit

Start with a small representative file. Check names, phone numbers and custom-field values in the resulting records before uploading the full list. Review any active Lead Imported workflows beforehand so imported contacts receive the follow-up you intend.

Match every column to its meaning. The Upload button in this preview submits the import. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Look at the preview beneath each Column heading and choose the field that matches its contents.
  2. Map the phone-number column to mobile. Map separate name columns to first_name and last_name, and email to email.
  3. Choose the appropriate custom field for extra information. Leave an unwanted column UNMAPPED.
  4. Check that each column has the right meaning and that phone numbers have kept their digits and country prefix.
  5. Select Upload in the mapping window to submit the file. Continue to DataFiles to check processing.
