Lead Buyer Guide
Receive campaign opportunities, manage your daily capacity and follow each lead, appointment or purchased call.

Make purchased enquiries easier to handle
A buyer is the business receiving opportunities from a campaign owner. For example, a roofing company can buy enquiries or booked consultations from an agency, then have its own team handle the customer conversation.
Your buyer account brings the assigned campaigns, shared leads, appointments and billing information together. The owner sets the offer and delivery rules. You can review your activity and adjust your receiving capacity within those agreed settings.
Get ready to receive opportunities
- Ask the campaign owner to add your business as a Lead Buyer and assign it to the intended campaigns.
- Agree on the service, area, qualification questions, price and expected volume. For booked appointments, confirm who will handle the consultation.
- Complete the buyer payment or balance arrangement with the owner. Review your available balance and billing information.
- If you will receive calls, have your extension and number destination assigned, then check that the intended person can answer. Telnyx provides the carrier connection for the calls and texts.
- Open My Settings to choose your daily lead cap and budget. Save your settings before receiving live opportunities.
Find your daily work
| Screen | What to do there |
|---|---|
| My Campaigns | Read the campaign overview, shared lead and appointment totals, active disputes and recent activity. Assigned call campaigns appear when you have call activity or assignments. |
| My Leads | Filter by campaign or status and search the received lead list. Open the row’s action menu and choose View Full Lead for the customer record. My Notes and System Notes show dispute and resolution information. |
| My Appointments | Review the appointments shared with you and their campaign details. Open the relevant record to prepare for the customer’s appointment. |
| Billing History | Review the dated campaign entries, item type, pricing tier, status and amount. Use the campaign filter and Export CSV when needed. |
| My Settings | Check available balance and owner-set limits, then adjust your own lead cap, budget and pause state. |
| My Call Campaigns | Review the call campaigns assigned to your buyer account and their purchased-call activity. |
Set a comfortable daily workload
My Settings shows a separate card for each assigned campaign. The client limits are the maximums set by the campaign owner. Your own limits can be lower to fit your team’s availability.
For example, the owner may allow ten leads and $250 per day, while you choose five leads and $125 for a smaller team. The screen shows Leads Today and Spend Today so you can compare activity with your plan.
- Read Client Lead Cap and Client Budget Cap at the top of the campaign card.
- Enter My Daily Lead Cap and My Daily Budget for your own capacity. Stay within the owner’s displayed limits.
- Use Pause Receiving Leads when you need to stop receiving new enquiries, and resume when your team is ready.
- Choose Save Settings for that campaign. A pause chosen in the form is retained when you save.
Review an opportunity that needs attention
If an enquiry needs review, open its action menu and choose Dispute when offered. Enter a clear reason with the details the campaign owner needs to investigate. Follow the recorded review status and System Notes for the decision.
The dispute action follows the campaign’s enabled rules and time window. Review the available action on the actual record; an approved dispute and a recorded buyer credit can then be checked alongside billing history.
To improve results, contact new enquiries promptly, read the qualification information before calling, and use consistent SMS templates for the agreed next step. Share recurring quality concerns with the campaign owner so the marketing and buyer matching can improve.
