Custom SMS Reports

Request a downloadable delivery report for the dates and message status you need.

In the CRM: Stats & Reports → Custom SMS Reports

Choose what to include

Custom SMS Reports prepares a file in the background. Use it when you want to inspect a selected period’s delivery results in a spreadsheet, such as after a promotion or appointment-reminder campaign.

Launching a report requests an export of existing message results. It does not send a new SMS campaign.

Choose the dates and delivery status for a downloadable SMS report. This example has not been submitted. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Open Custom SMS Reports. The form generates a Job_Id so you can recognize the request later.
  2. Choose Start Date and End Date.
  3. Choose Status: DELIVERED, UNDELIVERED or QUEUED, depending on the messages you want to review.
  4. Select Launchjob to request the report.
  5. Find the job in Report Jobs List and check Job Status. Download the file when the job has finished.

Follow the report job

The Status column is your selected message delivery status; Job Status is the progress of the export itself. Match the Job_Id and dates when you have several requests.

Use Cancel on an available job if you no longer need it and confirm the request. Delete Selected removes selected report-history entries. Download any report you want to keep before clearing its history.

After launching a report, return to this list to check its progress and download the finished file. Select the image to enlarge it.

Turn the file into a follow-up list

After a marketing send, request the delivery status you want to investigate. Compare those results with SMS Stats, then open the relevant conversations and contact records to decide the next step.

Keep the message purpose clear: an appointment reminder, an answer to an enquiry or an appropriate promotion. Reusable SMS templates help your team stay consistent, while replies and bookings show how the conversation progressed.
