Create and Edit a Social Post

Choose the right accounts, write a clear offer and preview the content before publishing.

In the CRM: Social Media → Posting → Planner → Create post

Start with the audience and the offer

Choose Create post, then select the business accounts that should receive this content. Each checked account is a destination. This is useful when your agency manages several brands or your business uses different pages for different locations.

Choose Feed, Story or Reel. The chosen type applies to all selected accounts; create another post when you want a different type. Give the post a useful internal name, or keep the name filled from your caption.

Write a caption that leads to a conversation

Write the offer in the caption editor for each selected platform. Use the platform tabs to check the wording, or Use same caption for all when the same text suits each audience. The character counter helps you fit the text. Add emoji opens the emoji choices.

Explain who the offer helps, why it matters and what to do next. For example: “Planning a home improvement project? Book a consultation with our team and discover the next step.” Add the relevant booking or contact details for your own business.

Add and check the visuals

  1. Choose Upload for a file on your computer, or Library to select an existing image or video.
  2. Check the selected media and its order. Use Crop & fit in the preview when framing needs adjustment.
  3. Review each platform preview and the Ready to post checks. Open Media requirements when a file needs a different format.
  4. Add an optional First comment for Feed or Reel where offered. Add an image description under Accessibility to describe the visual.
  5. Check the selected accounts, caption, post type and media together before choosing a publishing action.

Make changes to an existing post

Open the post from Planner and edit the appropriate fields. Saving changes returns it to Draft. Review the updated media and wording, then choose its schedule again. If approval is required, the changed version needs a fresh review.

After publication, open the saved platform copy in Posted. Use the editing or live-platform controls offered for that copy. This keeps your changes attached to the correct account and publication.
