Meta Lead Ads

Bring Facebook and Instagram form enquiries into Mango9 for qualification, routing and follow-up.

In the CRM: Settings → Developer APIs → Meta Lead Ads

Turn an ad response into a working lead

A Meta Lead Ad lets someone submit their details through a form on Facebook or Instagram. Mango9 receives the enquiry as a contact so the team can qualify it, follow up and move it toward a sale or appointment.

For a home-services campaign, capture the customer’s phone number, area and project type. Route the opportunity to the right staff member or buyer, then use your configured calling, AI and messaging tools for the next conversation.

The lead enters Mango9 through the connected account or an API integration, then follows the configured CRM workflow. Select the image to enlarge it.

Contacts API integrationYour developer or another form service will send each enquiry to Mango9 and maintain the field mapping.

Prepare the account and form mapping

  1. Open the Meta Ads connection for the business running the campaign. Keep advertising access separate from the social inbox connection used for replying to messages.
  2. Confirm the intended ad account, Page and lead form. Give access to the people responsible for the campaign.
  3. Map the phone, name and email fields, then the location and custom questions that help your team qualify the enquiry.
  4. Choose the intended contact group and lead campaign where those settings are provided.
  5. Review the campaign’s agents, buyers, routing and follow-up workflows.
  6. Submit an agreed test lead, find it in Mango9 and verify the fields and resulting activity before relying on the live campaign.

Pass the details your team needs

A developer-managed submission uses POST /api/contacts/create on the account’s Mango9 server. Supply key and contact, then add the fields needed for follow-up. JSON and form submissions are supported.

Use source to identify the campaign or form and note for useful enquiry context. Existing custom fields must be mapped by their exact field_name. group_id organizes the record; campaign_id submits a newly created lead to the chosen campaign’s routing rules.

Build a marketing journey around the lead

A local-service business can receive an enquiry, qualify the request, offer an appointment and send a confirmation from its business number. A configured AI agent can help with calls or SMS conversations using the instructions, numbers and booking tools prepared for it. Templates keep the follow-up consistent.

A lead-selling business can route opportunities to its configured buyers. Telnyx supplies the carrier connection for the business numbers, while Mango9 manages the campaign and customer workflow. Assign extensions to the users and buyers handling calls, then review the lead-delivery and call activity.

Configure the notifications your team needs, including mobile push actions where enabled. A successful contact creation confirms the record was saved; review the activity to confirm the intended delivery and follow-up also happened.

Keep repeated submissions under control

Keep a source submission ID in your integration and save the contact_id returned by Mango9. If the API reports err 97, find and update the existing contact instead of repeatedly submitting the same phone number.

Check new form questions when a campaign changes. An unmapped answer can leave the agent without the details needed to qualify the customer. Compare a controlled sample submission with the resulting contact record.
