Team Feature Permissions
Give each agent or buyer the tools they need for their part of the customer journey.
In the CRM: Settings → Permissions
Match access to the person’s job
The account owner uses Permissions to choose which available features an agent or lead buyer can use. This helps keep each person’s menu focused on the work they handle: qualifying enquiries, booking appointments, following up or receiving purchased leads.
Open Settings → Permissions and select the person in Team member. Active agents and lead buyers belonging to your account appear here. If the list is empty, add the person in Manage Users first.
Choose features and save
- Select the intended Team member.
- Use Find a feature to search by feature or module name. Search opens matching groups for you; Expand all and Collapse all also control the group lists.
- Turn an individual feature on or off. The page marks the pending change and enables Save permissions.
- Use a group switch when you want to change every available feature in that group. The group switch covers the whole group, including items hidden by your search.
- Select Save permissions to apply the choices. The confirmation says the changes apply on the next request.
- Select Discard to return to the saved choices if you do not want to apply your edits. Save or discard before choosing another team member.
Understand defaults and individual choices
| Label or action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Using default | The person follows the saved default for their account type. |
| Individual | This person has a separately chosen setting for the feature. |
| All enabled / Some enabled / All disabled | A quick summary of the available controls in a group. |
| Use account-type defaults | Stage a return to the account-type defaults. Save permissions applies that change; Discard cancels it. |
| Show other access rules | Reveal features governed by other access rules and the explanation shown for them. |
| Recent changes | Review recorded permission changes, who made them and when. |
Set up useful business roles
For a booking agent, review the available calendar, lead and conversation features needed to answer enquiries and arrange appointments. Give website operators access to the relevant website separately in Chat Settings.
For a lead buyer, review the features they need to work with their opportunities and appointments. Use the Buyer Pricing link when you need to manage the available resource rates or individual buyer pricing; feature access and pricing are separate choices.
Feature permissions work alongside the account plan, connected services and access to individual records. After changing a person’s setup, have them reopen the relevant area and check the intended workflow.
