Calendar API
Connect enquiries and booking tools to the appointments your team manages in Mango9.
In the CRM: Settings → Developer APIs → Calendar API
Turn an enquiry into a booked conversation
Use the Calendar API when another business tool needs to read or maintain Mango9 appointments. A website form, an external booking service or a configured automation can use it to connect the enquiry to the next scheduled conversation.
For example, a prospect requests a home-improvement consultation. Your integration checks the available slots, confirms the chosen time and creates the appointment. The team then works from the same Calendar record.
Choose the appointment action
| Action | Request | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Get Events | GET /api/calendar/events | Read appointments with date filters, page and limit. The maximum page size is 100. |
| Get Event | GET /api/calendar/event | Read the event identified by event_id. |
| Today / Upcoming | GET /api/calendar/today or /api/calendar/upcoming | Prepare the daily list or the next appointments. Upcoming supports up to 50 results. |
| Availability | GET /api/calendar/availability | Find suggested slots using start_date, end_date and slot_duration. Duration is 15–120 minutes. |
| Create | POST /api/calendar/create | Add an appointment. |
| Update / Delete | POST /api/calendar/update or /api/calendar/delete | Change or remove the event identified by event_id. |
Create a clear appointment record
- Select the Create tab in Calendar API. Paste the saved API secret into API Key.
- Enter a useful Summary/Title, such as Home improvement consultation, and the notes the team needs.
- Choose the activity, priority, start date/time and end date/time. Make the end later than the start.
- Choose a city-based time zone such as America/Los_Angeles. Use the customer’s agreed appointment time consistently.
- Select Create Event only when ready to create a real appointment. Keep the returned event ID.
- Open Calendar and confirm the title, date, time and owner before enabling further automation.
Give your developer the right fields
Creation accepts a JSON body or ordinary form fields. Send apiKey, summary, start, end and an explicit timezone. Optional fields include description, activity, priority and reminders in minutes. Use the event ID returned by creation for later updates.
Use the same server as the account. This request example describes a real record-creation action; replace placeholders in a controlled integration test.

}Connect the booking to follow-up
Creating an appointment triggers the configured appointment-scheduled workflow event. Use the corresponding workflow to notify the assigned people or prepare the next action. Check the workflow before testing a booking in a live account.
Keep appointment creation and customer confirmation coordinated. Repeating an uncertain create request can produce another booking, so retain the event ID and check the Calendar before retrying.
The response uses err, msg and data. err 00 indicates success; 01 means a key is missing and 02 means the key is invalid. Read the message when a field needs correction.
