Team Chat
Coordinate with staff and buyers in a shared business conversation.
In the CRM: Conversations → Inbox → + → User chat
Keep the team working on the same enquiry
User chat is internal messaging between Mango9 users. Use it to discuss an enquiry with an adviser, coordinate an appointment handoff or ask a buyer about the next step in a lead sale.
Choose Team chat in the Inbox channel filter to focus on internal conversations. The people available to you follow your account’s user and chat-visibility settings.
Start a conversation with a colleague
- Open Conversations → Inbox and select the plus icon beside Search.
- Choose User chat.
- Choose the first person under With user. Use And when you want another participant.
- Select OK to open the conversation. If the same group already exists, continue in that existing conversation.
- Write your message and send it. Check the selected participants before sharing customer details.
Understand the group controls
A group name helps everyone recognize the work, such as “Consultation booking team” or “Roofing buyer coordination.” The shared name is visible to the group.
Online status and typing indicators help you see recent activity. Use the conversation itself to agree who is handling the enquiry and what they will do next.
| Control | What it helps you do |
|---|---|
| Group details | Review the group’s members and, when offered, give the group a shared name. |
| Add user | Include an eligible colleague in an existing conversation. |
| Remove user | Manage the participants when this action is offered. |
| Archive chat | Organize the conversations shown in your own list. |
Choose who agents and buyers can see
The client owner manages visibility in Conversations → Chat Settings. Separate choices control whether buyers see agents, agents see buyers, buyers see the client owner and buyers see other buyers.
For a lead-selling business, choose visibility that supports the way your agents and buyers work together. Add the users first under Manage Users, then review the chat settings.
Turn internal discussion into action
An adviser can ask a buyer whether an enquiry fits the campaign, then complete the lead-delivery work in Sell Leads & Calls. A booking team can agree who will contact the prospect, then record the appointment in Calendar.
Assigned phone extensions give staff and buyers their calling destinations. Internal chat lets them coordinate around those calls, while the connected Telnyx numbers carry the telephone traffic.
